According to the Russian Satellite News Agency, the Russian Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) announced on Tuesday (July 26) that it has imposed a fine of 2 billion rubles on Google for abusing its market dominance and arbitrarily blocking YouTube accoun.

In February, the FAS found that Google violated antitrust laws by implementing "opaque, biased and unpredictable" blocking rules for YouTube users, the report sa.

The report also mentioned that a Russian court had previously imposed another huge fine on Google: Google must pay a fine of 21 billion rubles for refusing to delete banned content on YouTu.

In a statement to Reuters, Google said it was studying the FAS notice to decide its next steps, according to Reute.

The report mentioned that Google had stopped selling online ads in Russia in early March, but still kept some free servic.

Notably, Google's Russian subsidiary has filed for bankrupt.

On June 17, local time, the Moscow City Arbitration Court of Russia announced that it had received and registered a bankruptcy application from Google’s Russian subsidia.

On May 18, Google's Russian subsidiary showed its willingness to file for bankruptcy on the Unified Registration System of Legal Persons of the Russian Federati.

According to media reports, Anton Gorelkin, deputy chairman of the Russian State Duma Information Policy Committee, said that Google’s approach disregarded Russian laws and it risked completely losing the Russian mark.
