Recently, the Bioresources and Natural Products Engineering Team of the State Key Laboratory of Biochemical Engineering, Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, abandoned the traditional cation exchange resin method with complex processes and low recovery rates, and innovatively utilized the negatively charged properties and properties of pectin.

Researchers believe that this work has established a new set of polylysine production process, which is simple and environmentally friendly.
