    GS Caltex puts into operation Lishui cracker

    Sinochem News recently, South Korea's GS Caltex announced that it has put into operation a new mixed-feed steam cracker in Lishui as scheduled
    .


    The newly-built cracker will have a production capacity of 700,000 tons/year of ethylene and 300,000 tons/year of propylene, using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), naphtha, diesel and residual oil as mixed raw materials


    Prior to this, LG Chem began supplying naphtha to its new ethylene plant, and its new mixed feed cracking plant has achieved ethylene and propylene output standards

    LG Chem's cracking unit is also in Lishui, with a production capacity of 800,000 tons/year of ethylene and 400,000 tons/year of propylene
