On October 13, with the 500,000 tons/year polypropylene plant extrusion granulation unit officially feeding and producing qualified pellets, Guangdong Petrochemical Polypropylene Plant production preparation one of the two key paths of extrusion granulation solid material test work completed, 36 days
ahead of the planned node.

Guangdong Petrochemical 500,000 tons/year polypropylene plant is the world's largest single-line extruder capacity UNIPOL polypropylene plant, covering an area of 55,000 square meters, on May 20, 2022, CCCC, is the first production plant
of Guangdong Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Project.
The plant uses propylene, ethylene and hydrogen as the main raw materials to produce three types of products
: homopolymer, random copolymer and impact copolymer.
Polypropylene pellets are polypropylene powder mixed with different types of additives, heated at high temperature (200 °C ~ 300 °C) to reach a molten state, under the action of twin screw extruder and molten gear pump, formed by underwater granulation by the cutter after passing through the template

Under normal working conditions, it can produce 63 tons of polypropylene pellets per hour, up to 78.
75 tons
per hour.
The produced qualified pellets will be evenly mixed by the blending system, sent to the packaging warehouse through the air conveying system, and transported out for sale
by road or rail.
Guangdong Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Project, located in Jieyang City, Guangdong Province, is the largest one-time investment project of CNPC and is a key project in Guangdong Province, which has a huge driving effect on the formation and improvement of the petrochemical industry chain in eastern Guangdong after being put into operation, and can bring more than 500 billion yuan of midstream and downstream industries
to the local area.
The project is scheduled to start production at the end of October this year, and production preparations
are currently in full swing.
