Sinochem News According to Chinanews, on July 28, PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Transformation and Upgrading Project was fully launched
PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Transformation and Upgrading Project is located in the Petrochemical Industrial Park, Qinzhou Port Area, Guangxi Pilot Free Trade Zone, with a total investment of about 30.
Relying on the existing crude oil processing capacity of PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical's ten million-ton oil refining project, the project uses light naphtha and other products produced by the refinery as raw materials to build a new one-million-ton ethylene cracking and downstream deep processing unit.
This project is a major project of the national petrochemical industry planning and layout, and also a strategic project of PetroChina to promote "reduction of oil and increase of chemical" and structural adjustment.
It was also learned from the Qinzhou Municipal Government Network that on July 27, Qinzhou City and PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical Company signed an investment agreement for the PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Integration Transformation and Upgrading Project
On June 24, the "Environmental Impact Report of PetroChina Guangxi Petrochemical Company's Refining and Chemical Integration Transformation and Upgrading Project" published on the official website of the Qinzhou Port Area Management Committee of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone shows that after the project is completed, Guangxi Petrochemical will not be able to process crude oil.
Relying on the existing 30 sets of main production units in the refining block , a new 2 million tons/year diesel adsorption dearomatization unit and 400,000 tons/year carbon 2 recovery unit (including 100,000 tons/year catalytic dry gas carbon 2 recovery unit and 40,000 tons/year carbon 2 recovery unit) 10,000 tons/year carbon 2 recovery unit, built in the chemical industry area), and 2 sets of main production units have been deactivated
