Guangzhou Petrochemical supplied more than 50 tons of high-purity hydrogen to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

Sinopec News Network reported that as of the end of April, the Guangzhou Petrochemical Hydrogen Fuel Cell Hydrogen Supply Center has supplied more than 50 tons of high-purity hydrogen to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, helping the rapid development of the hydrogen energy industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

China’s hydrogen energy and fuel cell industry white paper proposes that my country’s hydrogen demand in 2050 will be close to 60 million tons, hydrogen refueling stations will reach more than 10,000, and the output of fuel cell vehicles will reach 5.

In accordance with Sinopec’s "14th Five-Year" hydrogen energy plan and local hydrogen energy development plans, Guangzhou Petrochemical actively promotes hydrogen energy construction in order to meet the hydrogen energy needs of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

In order to plan ahead for the next step in the development of the hydrogen energy industry and help Sinopec build an independent core technology system and standard system for the hydrogen energy industry chain and key materials, Guangzhou Petrochemical launched the second phase of the project-hydrogen purification for fuel cell vehicles and the early stage of the hydrogenation mother station project Work, it is planned to adopt Sinopec’s independent technology and accelerate the progress.
