Guizhou Chengheng Shipyard started to build 70 thousand-ton new energy power ships

On December 31, 2015, Guizhou Chengheng Shipyard started construction of 70 new energy power ships of 1,000 tons to 2,000 tons - LNG-powered container ships, which were invested and constructed
by Guizhou Shenneng Group.

With the support of the Provincial Department of Transportation, in November 2015, an LNG-powered standard ship provided by Guizhou Shenneng Group with clean energy power technology was successfully trialed, this multi-purpose container ship sailing on the Wujiang-Yangtze River route marks that Guizhou has an economical, environmentally friendly and safe new energy power vessel, which can significantly reduce a large amount of oil pollution and polluting gases generated in transportation, which is a major achievement
of our province in promoting energy conservation, emission reduction and "green shipping" construction.

The total investment of these LNG-powered demonstration ships started by Guizhou Shenneng Group is 500 million yuan, including the opening of a container liner route
from Guiyang to Shanghai.
It is reported that in order to ensure the fuel demand of LNG-powered ships in Wujiang and Beipanjiang in Guizhou Province and promote the construction of green shipping and ecological civilization, Guizhou Shenneng Group has laid out and built LNG fuel bunkering facilities on the water to provide necessary guarantee conditions
for the promotion and development of LNG new energy power ships.
