Gulei Ethylene Project Propylene Refrigeration Compressor Successfully Commissioned

Sinopec News Network News May 21, the Gulei Refining and Chemical Integration Project 800,000 tons/year steam cracker propylene refrigeration compressor unit K-501, which was constructed by the Tenth Construction Company of Refining and Chemical Engineering Co.

It is understood that the compressor unit is driven by a steam turbine and is one of the key lines for the compressor test run.

During the test run, the project department cooperated with the manufacturer, the owner, the IPMT project management department, general contractor, supervision and other units to check and confirm the mechanical properties of various equipment, and check the pressure, temperature, vibration, speed, etc.

After the compressor was qualified for trial run, the project department closely followed the construction plan and actively arranged follow-up construction to carry out the overall trial run of the compressor unit as soon as possible, laying a solid foundation for the final realization of the one-time start-up and feeding of the ethylene plant.
