    Global credit rating agency Moody's said today that the global green bond market hit a record high in the second quarter of 2019 as issuers brought $66.
    6 billion of green bonds to the global market, driving issuance to a record $117 billion
    in the first half of 2019.

    Moody's added that issuance in the first half of the year was 47% higher than the same period in 2018, while issuance in the first half of 2018 increased by about
    11% compared to the same period in 2017.
