The first hydrogen charging facility in Hainan Province was officially put into use.

China News Service, Hainan, Yangpu, April 16 (Li Qiang, Zhu Jing, Lin Hongguan, Zhang Huihui) On the morning of April 16, a torpedo car loaded with 300 kg of high-purity hydrogen slowly left the filling platform, marking the first place in Hainan Province.

According to Sinopec Hainan Refining & Chemical Company, the lead design and construction unit of the facility, the company has leveraged its advantages in the hydrogen production chain to build an integrated upstream and downstream filling and hydrogenation facility.

As the largest oil product sales company in Hainan Province, Sinopec Hainan Petroleum Branch is exploring the layout and construction of special hydrogen refueling stations for special business scenarios.

The completion and commissioning of the first filling facility and hydrogen refueling station in Hainan Province is of great significance for helping Hainan Province to establish a sound green, low-carbon, and circular development economic system.
