According to news from World Oil on April 27th, Halliburton recently released a new type of wireline logging service called StrataXaminer.
Obtaining high-resolution images in petroleum or synthetic fluid systems has been a challenge for the industry for decades.
StrataXaminer has ten different working frequencies, and customers can choose any three frequencies to record at the same time.
A representative of Tarim Petroleum Company said: "Our team uses StrataXaminer to study the sedimentary characteristics of tight sandstones, so as to better understand the fracture network and maximize production.
There are three versions of this tool, which can optimize the acquisition quality in boreholes of different sizes.
Trey Clark, Vice President of Cable and Perforating, said: "StrataXaminer reduces the uncertainty of the reservoir by providing the industry's highest resolution images under various wellbore conditions.

Halliburton introduces new borehole imaging technology
Halliburton Company announced a new wireline logging service that helps operators acquire more accurate well data to better evaluate production potential called StrataXaminer.
Obtaining high resolution images in oil or synthetic-based fluid systems has been an industry challenge for decades.
“Our team used StrataXaminer to target sedimentary features in tight sands to better understand our fracture network and maximize production,” said a representative from Tarim Oil Company.
The tool is available in three versions to optimize the acquisition quality in various size boreholes and can operate in higher pressures than previous technologies.
"StrataXaminer reduces reservoir uncertainty by providing the industry's highest resolution images in the widest variety of borehole conditions," said Trey Clark, vice president of Wireline and Perforating.
