On October 26, the Binhai Branch of Weifang Ecological Environment Bureau issued an announcement on the approval of the environmental impact report of
the high-end nylon and high-end optical grade materials project of Shandong Xinhecheng Jinghua Technology Co.
    , Ltd.

    Project Overview

Construction: Shandong Xinhecheng Jinghua Technology Co.
    , Ltd

Project Name: High-end nylon and high-end optical grade material project

    Nature of construction: newly built

Construction site: Shandong Weifang Binhai Chemical Industrial Park

Construction content: After the completion of the project, it will form an annual output of 200,000 tons of nylon, 666, 100,000 tons of adiponitrile, 100,000 tons of hexamethylenediamine, and 12,700 tons of methylglutaronitrile; Production capacity of 40,000 tons of
polymethyl methacrylate, 40,000 tons of methyl methacrylate, 42,000 tons of methyl propionate.

On May 25, 2022, Xinhecheng said on the investor interaction platform that the company's adiponitrile project is being piloted, and the company will implement production
expansion according to the pilot test situation.

New and Chengdu adiponitrile project - raw material advantage

Since 2013, Xinhecheng has begun to lay out a methionine project with an annual output of 250,000 tons, and began to build supporting projects
    for methionine project in 2020.
The company's environmental impact assessment shows that after the completion of the project, the entire process production line of hydrocyanic acid will be independently produced
    .
At the same time, the raw material required for the production of adiponitrile, which is still in the gap of production capacity in China, is also hydrocyanic acid
    .
At that time, the company's own hydrocyanic acid will provide sufficient raw materials
    for methionine and adiponitrile.

    New and polyphenylene sulfide project

In 2012, Xinhecheng has begun to lay out 30,000 tons/year fiber-grade polyphenylene sulfide and 20,000 tons/year composite polyphenylene sulfide new material construction projects
    .

    In 2014, the first phase of the project (5000 tons/year fiber-grade polyphenylene sulfide, 6000 tons/year composite polyphenylene sulfide) has passed the acceptance of Zhejiang Provincial Environmental Protection Department;

In 2018, the second phase of the project (10,000 tons/year fiber-grade polyphenylene sulfide) was completed and put into trial operation
    .

The third phase of the project was originally 15,000 tons/year fiber-grade polyphenylene sulfide and 14,000 tons/year composite polyphenylene sulfide, and now it is 7,000 tons/year polyphenylene sulfide
    .
