Henkel and Appra invest in new packaging plant in the US

Henkel, a consumer chemicals maker, and packaging company Alpla have invested in a new bottle production facility in Bowling Green, Kentucky, U.

The new factory covers an area of 15,700m2 and will start production in mid-2020 and will be operated by Ap.

Henkel has invested more than $100 million in its Bowling Green production site over the past three years, bringing the total investment to date at the site to more than $130 milli.

Stephan Fuesti-Molnar, President of Henkel FMCG North America, said that the United States is one of Henkel's largest markets, and Henkel has invested more than $5 billion in the United States in the past four years, further consolidating its market position in the United Stat.
