Hexpol and Germany's Icho Systems GmbH have collaborated to develop an award-winning therapy ball that gamely promotes cognitive and motor skills in young and old people with cognitive disorders

As a medical product, the ichó therapy ball was specially developed for use in a medical environment, therefore, a medical-grade material was required

Representative Mediprene TPE materials have been tested for cytotoxicity according to ISO 10993-5 and biocompatibility according to ISO 10993-10 (intradermal reactivity)/11 (acute systemic toxicity) and USP Class VI

Mediprene material is latex-free, which reduces the risk of allergic reactions

According to ISO 10993 - 10 "Sensitization and irritation tests", representative Mediprene compounds have been shown to have no sensitizing potential and are classified as non-sensitizers
