Hubei fertilizer wastewater treatment technology wins again

Sinochem News recently, Hubei Chemical Fertilizer Biological Fluidized Bed A/O Process Technology for Chemical Wastewater Treatment has won the third prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of China Chemical Industry Society in 2021

The technology was applied to the Hubei Fertilizer Wastewater Treatment Standard Upgrading Project, which was put into operation in July 2018, and previously won the second prize of Sinopec's 2020 Scientific and Technological Progress Award

The newly-built A/O biochemical treatment facility and the sludge thickening tank of the corresponding treatment scale adopt the multi-stage enhanced gas-liquid-solid three-phase fluidized bed independently developed by Sinopec to replace the traditional aeration tank to deeply treat the chemical in the sewage.

Compared with the traditional technology, the new biological fluidized bed A/O sewage treatment technology reduces the floor space by about 50%, reduces the waste gas discharge and the remaining sludge volume by 80% and 43%, respectively, and eliminates the soil caused by the leakage of the structure.
