On December 8, Huntsman Group announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire Gabriel Functional Products Company (hereinafter referred to as Gabriel) under the Audax Private Equity Fund

Gabriel is a specialty chemical producer in North America, producing specialty additives and epoxy curing agents for the coatings, adhesives, sealants and composites end markets

Under the terms of the agreement, Huntsman will pay $250 million for the acquisition, subject to final adjustments based on changes in working capital and other factors
