American chemical group Huntsman is in advanced talks to sell its textile unit to private equity firm SK Capit.

SK Capital could potentially combine the unit with Archroma, a business it built when it bought textile chemicals, paper specialty products and emulsion assets from Swiss firm Clariant AG in 201

Huntsman and SK Capital did not immediately respond to requests for comment on the sale of the busine.

It is understood that Huntsman announced in December that it was conducting a strategic review of the divisi.
