    This product is the dried and mature fruit of Schisandra sphenanthera Rehd.


    [Properties] This product is spherical or oblate with a diameter of 4-6mm


    [Microscopic identification] This product is powder, the skin epidermal cells have keratin lines, and the skin epidermal cells are not thickened; the oil cells are round, about 80um in diameter, and 1 row of seed coat epidermal stone cells are rectangular, about 50um in length and 20-30um in width.


    【Character identification characteristics】

    (1) It is spherical or oblate


    (2) The surface is brownish red to dark brown, shriveled and shrunken


    (3) The pulp often clings to the seeds
