Indonesian Petroleum Corporation's first quarter oil and gas production is 2% higher than target

According to Energy News on April 29, an official of Indonesia’s national oil company PT Pertamina said on Thursday that the company’s domestic and overseas oil and gas production in the first quarter was 861,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

In a statement, Budiman Parhusip, CEO of the upstream division of Petronas, said this was 2% higher than its original target of 848,000 barrels per day.

Budiman said that by the end of March, the country’s domestic oil production this year was 298,000 barrels per day, while crude oil production was 290,000 barrels per day.

Indonesia state oil company PT Pertamina's oil and gas output from both its domestic and overseas assets stood at 861,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd) in the first quarter, a company official said on Thursday.

This is 2 per cent higher than its initial target of 848,000 boepd, Budiman Parhusip, the CEO of Pertamina's upstream unit, said in statement.

At the end of March, domestic oil production was 298,000 barrels of oil per day (bpd) this year, while oil lifting, or ready-to-sell oil, stood at 290,000 bpd, Budiman said.
