    1 Scope

    This section specifies the spectrophotometric method for the determination of iron and copper content in acrylonitrile for industrial use


    This section applies to the determination of iron and copper content in industrial acrylonitrile samples with iron content greater than 0.


    When the iron content exceeds 100 times the copper content, it will interfere with the determination of copper

    Unless otherwise noted, all reagents are analytically pure, and the water used is in compliance with the third-grade water specifications of GB/T6682


    The standard solutions, preparations and products used in the analysis shall be prepared in accordance with the provisions of GB/T602 and GB/T603 when other requirements are not specified
