Isobutyl acetate is a flammable liquid with a medium flash point.
The substance can be absorbed into the body by inhaling its vapor.

a) A dike shall be set around the storage tank of isobutyl acetate to prevent its leakage
b) When isobutyl acetate catches fire, use foam, alcohol -resistant foam, carbon dioxide, and dry powder to extinguish the fire
c) Avoid contact of isobutyl acetate with the skin.
If it does, remove the contaminated clothes and wash the skin with plenty of water or shower

d) If it splashes into the eyes, rinse with plenty of water for a few minutes (remove contact lenses if possible), and then seek medical attention
