Celanese to acquire Omni Plastics
Corporation December 18, 2017 Celanese announced the acquisition of Omni Plastics, integrating Omni's thermoplastic composite assembly and production capabilities into Celanese's
engineered materials business.
Several product quality levels involved are UL certified, FDA standards and NSF standards, and manufactured using post-processing process materials, and have been certified
by car manufacturers, appliance manufacturers and other original equipment manufacturers.

Celanese expects to close the transaction in early Q1 2018 and is awaiting customary and much-needed acquisition conditions and related regulatory approvals

Financial details of the deal have not been revealed
at this time.
Until the close, Celanese and Omni Plastics will continue to operate
as independent businesses.
