    At the China International Roofing and Building Waterproofing Technology Exhibition (R&W), WACKER recently presented its GENIOSIL®WP 1 silane-modified polymer
    , which can be used as a raw material for waterproofing coatings.
    The product is a polyether-based silane-terminated polymer with a clear liquid appearance and excellent properties
    of polyether and silicone.
    GENIOSIL®WP 1 cures quickly at room temperature under moisture and catalyst conditions, has broad adhesion to many substrates depending on the formulation, and does not require pretreatment

    WACKER's unique α-silane technology and low viscosity (700 mPa·s at 25°C) make waterproofing coatings cured without the addition of solvents, plasticizers or organotin catalysis, making them more adaptable
