    Pirelli Industrial tyres for high-durability truck tyres
    Pierelli has presented a regional road product designed and produced specifically for the European truck market – the R:01 Triathlon
    – at the Essen Tire Show in Germany.
    The product is a technological innovation based on the existing R:01 II, resulting in longer mileage, lower rolling resistance, higher safety and reliability in a variety of use environments, making it more suitable for long-distance driving, while the tire is easier to retread, and the operating costs of the fleet are significantly reduced

    Pirelli industrial tyre engineers have developed a new formulation designed to extend tyre life and reduce rolling resistance

    The new generation of tires uses double-fill technology to blend silicon with other materials, and through the interaction of carbon black and silicon, it can reduce rolling resistance and improve versatility and stability
    in different temperature and road conditions.
    At the same time, double-layer tread technology also plays an important role, using different formulations inside and outside the tread, which also helps to increase tire life and enhance grip in different weather conditions

    The external formulation focuses on tire durability and wet and dry grip, while the internal formulation (100% silicon) focuses on maintaining tire operating temperature and minimizing rolling resistance
