    BP acquires 7X Energy's 9GW solar project

Recently, BP said it will buy 9GW of US solar development projects
from independent US solar developer 7X Energy.

So far, an agreement has been reached that BP will contribute $220 million to the project and 1GW of "safe harbor" equipment, which will be completed
    within 30 days.
These projects are located in 12 states, with the largest portfolio located in Texas (ERCOT) and the Midwest (PJM).

It is reported that the agreement will increase BP's renewable energy pipeline from 14GW to 23GW, which also represents an important step
towards BP's goal of increasing its net development of renewable energy generation capacity to 2000GW by 2025 and 5000GW by 2030.
