Air Products will build a new net-zero hydrogen complex in Canada

Air Products has unveiled a multibillion-dollar plan to build a new net-zero hydrogen energy complex in Edmonton, Alberta
, Canada.

Air Products Canada, a subsidiary of Air Products, has announced plans
to establish a hydrogen complex in conjunction with the Government of Canada and Alberta.
The facility will capture more than 95% of_CO2 from feedstock natural gas and safely store it back underground, with hydrogen-fueled electricity offsetting the remaining 5% of emissions
.
The project is expected to produce 1,500 tons of hydrogen per day and capture more than 3 million tons of_CO2
per year.
