INEOS plans to increase production capacity in India Ineos Styrolution plans to increase its engineering composite plastic production

capacity at its Moxi plant in Gujarat, India, at an average annual rate of 34,000 tons.
The company is expected to complete its annual
production of engineering composite plastics to 100,000 tons in 2019.
The plan will involve a capital expenditure of US$20 million (equivalent to INR 1.
3 billion), which also includes upgrades to infrastructure within
the plant.
In addition, the company has approved a detailed engineering study to evaluate the overall production capacity
of ABS resin in India over the next few years.
The program is expected to meet the growing demand for styrene polymers in India's core development industries, enabling Incely to meet its customers' growth plans and continue to offer the same high-quality products
.
As part of the capacity expansion, the Moxi plant will install two new extruders and upgrade various infrastructure to accommodate additional product
volumes.
