Total Energies and Descinib jointly develop low-carbon LNG solutions

Total Energies and Technip Energies have announced that they have signed an agreement to jointly develop low-carbon solutions for liquefied natural gas (LNG) production and offshore facilities to accelerate the energy transition
.

As part of the agreement, the two companies will explore new concepts and technologies to reduce the carbon footprint of existing facilities and greenfield projects in "key areas" such as LNG production, cryogenic processes, the production and use of hydrogen for power generation, and the Carbon Capture Utilization and Storage Process (CCUS).

The two companies said in a joint statement that their cooperation is based on the shared belief that
achieving energy transition goals requires industry-wide cooperation.
