On August 25, Prime Evolue Singapore, a joint venture between Preman Polymers and Mitsui & Co.
, Ltd.
, started production
on Jurong Island in Singapore.

The new plant will have an annual capacity of 300,000 tons of metallocene polymers and will expand Preman Polymers' metallocene polymer resin production capacity to 550,000 tons
.

Mitsui Chemicals holds 65% of Preman Polymers and Idemitsu Kosan holds the remaining 35%.

In the new project, Priman Polymers holds an 80% stake
and Mitsui & Co.
holds the remaining 20%.
