    Recently, LG Chem plans to invest 1.
    63 billion US dollars to open a super-large electric vehicle battery factory
    in Poland.
    Located near the city of Wroclaw, the plant will have an annual capacity of several gigawatt-hours and will produce enough batteries
    for 100,000 battery packs.
    LG Chem will first import raw materials from the Korean parent company and subsequently purchase
    them from Polish suppliers.
    LG Chem said it chose Poland as the most competitive production location
    to meet the needs of European and global automakers.
