INEOS Styrol and Agilyx advance PS recycling plant styrene suppliers INEOS and Agilyx, a company that converts post-consumer plastics into low-carbon fuels, chemicals and plastics, are advancing the construction
of a polystyrene (PS) chemical recycling plant
in Channahon, Illinois.
Using Agilyx's proprietary chemical recycling technology, the plant is capable of processing up to 100 tons of post-consumer polystyrene per day and converting it into styrene monomer for use in the manufacture of new polystyrene products
