    Evonik is developing new sustainable, ready-to-use materials, upgrading its product portfolio and making 3D printing more sustainable
    .
    The new sustainable INFINAMIDE 12 (PA12) powder significantly reduces CO2 emissions
    .
    The new product can replace the existing INFINAM?PA12 material and is suitable for all common 3D printing processes
    such as selective laser sintering (SLS), high-speed sintering (HSS), and multi-jet melting (MJF).

    Evonik not only analyzes the CO2 emissions of its products, but also focuses on other important sustainability indicators, such as water consumption and land use

    The new sustainable INFINAM?PA12 powder is manufactured at Evonik's Marr site in Germany and is produced entirely using renewable energy
    .
    According to a product life cycle assessment conducted by TÜV Rheinland, a third-party certification body, its own carbon footprint can be reduced by almost 50%.

    The comprehensive life cycle assessment of this sustainable product is even better than the Evonik Terra series of polyamides
    based on castor oil.

    Evonik plans to expand its portfolio of sustainable PA12 powders and launch the INFINAM?eCO product line

    The eCO series uses renewable and recycled raw materials according to the mass balance method, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions
    such as carbon dioxide.
    This immediately reduces CO2 emissions from production without compromising product quality

    INFINAM?eCO is expected to be officially launched
