PPG Industries will showcase new anti-graffiti coatings

American coatings giant PPG Industries' Coil and Building Materials Coatings Division will bring the latest CORAFLON® GR (anti-graffiti coating) and DURANAR GR coatings to the 2014 American Institute of Architects (AIA) National Conference and Exposition
in Chicago, USA.

Coraflon GR High Gloss Paint and Duranar GR Medium and Low Gloss Coatings are exclusively formulated with PPG's transparent anti-graffiti coating on top of the pigment layer, allowing users to easily wipe away graffiti, spray paint, pen and water pen marks, lipstick, scratch marks, tape residue and other marks
on the surface of objects with PPG's DURAPREP 400 Graffiti Remover.

At the show, PPG will also showcase its full range of Duranar fluorocarbon powder coatings and Duranar VARI-COOL?.

Duranar fluorocarbon powder coatings use the same 70% polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) formulation as Duranar liquid coatings, with rich color cards, virtually zero volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, and excellent abrasion and scratch resistance for high foot traffic

The special pigment composition in Duranar VARI-Cool coatings also changes color
depending on the surrounding light conditions and viewing angle.
All products in the Duranar range meet the highest industry standard for metal coatings, the American Building Manufacturers Association (AAMA) 2605 standard
