Ashland will build a new synthetic thickener facility

Ashland recently announced plans to invest in a new nonionic synthetic associative thickener (NSAT) facility
in North America.
The expansion will strengthen the company's regional growth strategy
for rheology modifiers.
The facility is expected to be mechanically completed and operational
in 2024.

^AquaflowTMNSAT can be used alone or in combination with cellulose rheology modifiers, including Ashland Natrosol TM hydroxyethylcellulose (HEC),^Culminal TM methylcellulose (MC) and Aqualon ^TM/Blanose for paints, coatings and construction products ^TM carboxymethylcellulose (CMC).
