East China University of Technology established a biomedical nanotechnology center

Recently, East China University of Science and Technology established the Biomedical Nanotechnology Center, which will play a role
in promoting the integration and cross-development of nanotechnology and biomedicine, expanding the research and application in the field of nanobiology and medicine, and strengthening the collaborative innovation and academic influence of the school and cooperation in this field.

According to Wang Ping, director of the Biomedical Nanotechnology Center and distinguished professor of the national "Thousand Talents Program", the overall goal of the Biomedical Nanotechnology Center is to promote the integration and cross-development of East China University of Science and Technology in the fields of nanodrug transshipment system, nanoenzyme assembly and catalysis, nano-biomolecular machine, nano-biological detection and diagnosis, promote the integration of academic research and medical application (transformation of scientific research results), and cultivate a new force for the development of this field
.

Tu Shandong, vice president of East China University of Science and Technology, said that the research of biomedical nanotechnology will aim at the major needs of society, and achieve "medical-engineering integration" through in-depth cooperation with colleges and hospitals with medical background advantages, and at the same time, he hopes that the research of biomedical nanotechnology can become another growth point
to enhance the comprehensive strength of scientific research of East China University of Science and Technology.
