and the technical team of Shaanxi University of Science and Technology have overcome the key technologies of water-based alkyd resin coating synthesis, and realized the industrial production
of environmentally friendly water-based alkyd resin coatings.

The developed alkyd resin coating uses water as a diluent, which has the advantages of multi-function, mature synthesis technology, easy availability of raw materials, good comprehensive performance of coating film, high cost performance, safety and environmental protection, etc.
, and is mainly used in chemical storage tank pipeline coating, steel structure coating, engineering machinery and equipment coating, hardware coating and home decoration coating and other fields

It occupies an important position in China's coating industry, with an annual output of more than 10 million tons, accounting for more than
40% of the total output of the coating industry.

, introduced that as a green environmental protection coating product that the state key encourages the development, water-based alkyd resin coatings reduce the amount of organic solvents by 95%, and the key technical indicators such as water resistance and gloss of the paint film greatly exceed similar solvent-based products, which can reduce organic solvent emissions by 1200 tons per year, which is of great
significance to the realization of energy conservation, emission reduction and environmental protection.
