Evonik launches new PMMA production line in the U.
S.
On January 23, Evonik said it had started a new polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) production line

in Osceola, Arkansas.
The project was announced in January 2018 and the expansion will nearly double
the site's production capacity for specialty molded composites.

Evonik said the launch of the new compounding line will support growing demand in North America, such as impact-resistant modification, piano black or diffusion-grade specialty acrylic matrix composites
