Issue 30/2014 - Acceptance of Calorific Value Gas Technology in Straw Pyrolysis

jointly implemented the major technological innovation project in Hebei Province - the key technology research and demonstration of straw pyrolysis production of medium calorific value gas, which has recently passed the acceptance
organized by the Science and Technology Department of Hebei Province.

Since the implementation of the project, the two companies have worked closely together to develop and integrate a number of new straw gasification technologies such as circulating fluidized bed combustion technology, rotary pyrolysis furnace technology and centralized gas supply technology, realizing the continuous production of medium calorific value straw gas, and the gas calorific value has reached 12.

They also jointly developed a process technology combining high-temperature pyrolysis and catalytic pyrolysis of tar, which reduced the tar content in gas to 33mg/N·m, and greatly reduced the secondary pollution
of tar in the process of straw gas production.
