BASF's Technology Innovation Hub global tour opens in Shanghai

BASF's "Creating a New Role in Chemistry" Science and Technology Innovation Gathering recently landed in Shanghai, bringing BASF's employees and other stakeholders, including customers, government representatives, partners, academia and media personnel, a comprehensive experience of BASF's cutting-edge technology, demonstrating BASF's innovative achievements
in pursuing a sustainable future.

At the Technology Innovation Hub, BASF presented innovations through 20 interactive booths, including innovative technologies
to improve energy efficiency, food production and nutrition, and improve quality of life.
All the innovations presented by BASF will help us develop solutions
in three main areas: resources, environment and climate, food and nutrition, and quality of life.

Today, skyrocketing energy demand is one of the world's greatest challenges, and the importance of clean water and other non-renewable resources is growing

BASF showcased energy-saving solutions
for electric vehicles, wind energy, solar energy, organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), building insulation and concrete technology.

The concept car incorporates no less than five technologies that are first used in the automotive industry: transparent organic solar cells, transparent OLEDs, all-plastic wheels, new lightweight body parts, and infrared reflective films and coatings that help reduce energy consumption, increase range and improve

in 2013.
