The separation and purification method of propenol from Xinjiang Institute of Physics and Chemical Technology was authorized

A separation and purification method of propenol invented by Xinjiang Institute of Physical and Chemical Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences has been authorized
by the national invention patent.

This method uses an extractant to extract most of the propylene alcohol in the aqueous solution of propylene alcohol, and the high-purity propylene alcohol is obtained after the extraction phase is removed from the solvent, and the solvent is recovered and continued to be used as an extractant.
The residual phase is subjected to constant boiling distillation, and the constant boiling components are recycled back as extraction raw materials

This method has high propylene alcohol recovery, complete solvent reuse, and easy continuous operation
