Issue 41/2014 - Celanese presents new Hostaform R SlideXTM copolymer acetaldehyde

Celanese recently launched its latest versatile, non-migration copolymer (POM) product Hostaform?SlideXTM POM
at the International Plastics Processing Technology 2014 exhibition.
The product has the lowest wear rate and coefficient of friction, reduces driving forces and eliminates noise
for industrial production, transportation, consumer goods and a wide range of products and applications.
Hostaform® SlideXTM POM is very competitive
for alternative compounds, silicone or paraffin modifications, or modifications that require the addition of migratory abrasion additives.

Hostaform?SlideXTM POMs offer different processability and higher mechanical properties, making them ideal for applications
such as conveyor belts, variable speed systems, stabilizer joints, roller shutters, furniture slide systems or speedometers.
In addition, the use of Hostaform?SlideXTM POM as an alternative material eliminates the need for external lubrication additives
such as oils or paraffins.
