Issue 41/2014 - Reciprocating compressor flow control system qualified

On October 11, the scientific and technological achievements of the flow stepless regulation system of large reciprocating compressors passed the technical appraisal
organized by the China Machinery Industry Federation in Guangzhou.
The achievement was jointly developed
by Guangzhou Petrochemical and Hefei General Machinery Research Institute, Shenyang Turbine Machinery Co.
, Ltd.
and Taizhou Huantian Machinery Co.
, Ltd.
The system has been successfully applied in two sets of plants in Guangzhou Petrochemical, which can save more than 6 million yuan
in electricity costs every year.

The domestic stepless air volume adjustment system uses the active control of the intake valve technology, according to the system air volume demand, actively control the intake valve to achieve automatic stepless adjustment of the compressor exhaust volume, and the purchase price is only 50% of
