    Recently, Sinopec Catalyst Co.
    , Ltd.
and Shanghai SECCO Petrochemical Company signed the first application agreement
of carbon 2 hydrogenation BC-H-20B catalyst.

Shanghai SECCO is a joint venture between Sinopec and BP, with a designed ethylene production capacity of 1.
09 million tons per year, and has been using a C2 hydrogenation catalyst
from foreign patentors since it was completed and put into operation in 2005.
The application of domestic C2 hydrogenation catalyst by SECCO will play a good demonstration effect
for domestic technology to enter the international market.
In the process of catalyst production, we will assist catalyst companies to strictly control quality, provide fast and high-quality technical services in the process of catalyst use, help manufacturers make good use of catalysts, and lay a solid foundation
    for more technology exports.

Developed by Sinopec Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, the BC-H-20B catalyst is the most widely used catalyst in China, with the advantages
of high selectivity, good activity, adaptation to high altitude speed and long life.
As of 2012, C2 hydrogenation catalysts have been successfully applied to 18 sets of ethylene plants in Shanghai, Yanshan, Yangtze and Qilu, with a domestic market share of more than 65%.

Carbon 2 selective hydrogenation catalyst is an important catalyst used in ethylene plants, and its advantages and disadvantages directly affect the operation level and overall benefits
    of ethylene plants.
The North Chemical Institute has been committed to the development of selective hydrogenation catalysts for decades, and the development level of carbon two selective hydrogenation catalysts has been continuously improved
through the continuous improvement and innovation of active components and carriers.
