Evonik launches the TEGO?Dispers 747 W high-efficiency dispersant
Evonik presents the new TEGO?Dispers 747 W product, specially developed
for waterborne iron oxide concentrates for architectural coatings.
The product is suitable for all aqueous inorganic pigment concentrates and has excellent process performance
during the toning stage.

The new dispersion increases efficiency in three ways: First, it increases the pigment content and simplifies the grinding process
.
Second, the dispersant can be used to disperse all types of iron oxides, thereby reducing the variety of dispersions required, which is the most significant difference
from polyacrylate additives.
Third, the dispersant closes the price and performance gap
with many expensive polymer additives.
The new product combines the advantages of
electrostatic stability and steric hindrance.
Even when stored for long periods of time, it provides long-lasting pigment stability and ensures consistency
at high color intensity.
In addition, the additive reduces the viscosity of the pigment concentrate, allowing more pigment to be added to the concentrate to reduce the amount
of concentrate required to cover a given surface area.
