On March 13, Dowdupont announced that Executive Chairman Lee Willson is beginning the job transition, and he will no longer serve as executive chairman on April 1, 2018, and will officially retire from the Dow DuPont board of directors
on July 1, 2018.
Jeff Fettig, current independent director of DowDuPont, will serve as executive chairman
of the company on April 1, 2018.
DowDuPont's Materials Science business (known as Dow Chemical Company) also announced that Jim Fitterling, the current Dow President and Chief Operating Officer, will serve as Dow's CEO after the official spin-off of Dow; Howard Ungerleider, current DowDuPont Chief Financial Officer, Vice Chairman and Chief Financial Officer of Dow, will serve as Dow's President and Chief Financial Officer
.
Until Dow closes the spin-off in the first quarter of 2019, Fitterling and Ungerleider will retain their current positions
at DowDuPont.
