The European Union approved Saudi Aramco's acquisition of Saudi Arabia's basic industry company
Tadawul recently said that Saudi Aramco has received approval from the European Commission, the EU regulator, to acquire a 70% stake in SABIC from Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund (PIF) for $69 billion

According to Tadawul's announcement, the deal has now received all necessary approvals under antitrust rules and is able to be finalized
