Environmentally friendly PU foaming agent passed the identification

Recently, the new technology development project of green and environmentally friendly polyurethane (PU) chemical foaming agent CFA-A8 jointly developed by Zibo Zhenghua Foam Material Co.
, Ltd.
and Shandong University of Technology has passed the scientific and technological achievements appraisal
organized by the Science and Technology Department of Shandong Province.
The appraisal group believes that the CFA-A8 production technology has reached the international advanced level, and it is recommended to put it into industrial production as soon as possible, and establish a corresponding demonstration project base to further carry out relevant theoretical research and applied research

The blowing agent is a non-halogen chemical blowing agent, its ozone depletion potential (ODP) is zero, global warming potential (GWP) is only about 1/10 of the existing physical foaming agent, is a green and environmentally friendly foaming agent

The performance indicators of CFA-A8 meet the requirements of Q/0305ZZHF002-2012 standard, and the polyurethane material prepared by applying the chemical foaming agent has high compressive strength, low thermal conductivity, stable quality and low cost, and is a green and environmentally friendly foaming agent
.

The results of domestic and foreign research by Shandong Chemical Industry Information Center prove that CFA-A8 is currently the only completely water-soluble non-aqueous chemical foaming agent in the world, which is the first at
home and abroad.
Experts believe that the advent of CFA-A8 will reduce or eliminate the use of chlorofluorocarbon blowing agents, play a significant role in protecting the atmospheric ozone layer, improving the global environment, reducing energy consumption and carbon reduction, and also provide technical support
for China to fulfill its international obligations under the Montreal Protocol on time or even ahead of schedule.

The product has passed the application test in the production of related polyurethane rigid foam, and can be widely used in the foaming process of refrigerators, solar energy, children's toys, freezers and other daily necessities, cold storage, building insulation and other industries, with broad market prospects and good economic and social benefits
