Sinopec News Network reported on June 24, the Qinghe Manager Department of Jianghan Oilfield Oil and Gas Production Engineering Technical Service Center organized supervisors to conduct special safety inspections on 8 contractors, and found incomplete safety equipment and inadequate monitoring of high-risk operations, etc.

Since the beginning of this year, the manager department has focused on the increase in the number of contractors, and its business scope includes underground operations, vehicle transportation, steam injection boiler maintenance, infrastructure construction and other fields.

Strictly grasp on-site management and lay a solid foundation for safety

In view of the contractor’s wide range of business, multiple sites, and uneven technical capabilities, the management department strictly implements the contractor’s site access system, insists on its safety and technical capabilities, the professional qualifications of the constructors, and the management status of the equipment.

Effectively strengthen on-site organization and coordination, adhere to daily on-site inspections and night inspections, and urge contractors to hold pre-shift meetings, make solid preparations for the start of work, work with certificates, and guardianship for high-risk operations.

Strictly grasp the special aspects of construction to ensure that risks are under control

Since the construction of each project will involve some special places and special links, the management department strictly requires the contractor to carry out the risk assessment before the start of the project, and actively promote the standardized safety supervision model.

Insist on focusing on human operation and management, requiring construction personnel not to move or malfunction during the construction of special links; to issue suspension instructions in time when “three violations” are found, and immediate rectification is required.

Strictly grasp the problem analysis and assistance to achieve a win-win situation for both parties
