Jilin Issues Investment Proposals for Hazardous Waste Disposal

On February 18, the Jilin Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment announced the "Guiding Suggestions on Investment and Construction of Hazardous Waste Utilization and Disposal Capacity in Jilin Province"

The announcement stated that since the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, Jilin Province's hazardous waste generation and utilization and disposal capacity have increased significantly compared with the "12th Five-Year Plan" period.

According to the announcement, based on the existing utilization and disposal capacity and the amount of hazardous waste generated, the province's actual comprehensive utilization is about 10% of the utilization capacity, the incineration disposal capacity is about 9% of the incineration capacity, and the landfill disposal capacity is about the landfill capacity.
