    JinkoSolar, a member of the Silicon Module Super Alliance, has supplied 275.
    4 MW of high-efficiency solar modules
    to Bungala, a South Australian solar project jointly owned by Enel Green Power and the Dutch Infrastructure Fund Joint Venture.

     

    Green Light Contractors, an EPC contractor at the Bougsala project near Port Augusta, a subsidiary of the Elecnor Group, was recently completed and began production
    at 137.
    7MW in the first phase.

    It is understood that Bingala is Australia's largest solar photovoltaic project
    .

    "The Australian market is growing rapidly and we are working closely with local developers to build sustainable partnerships so they can use JinkoSolar's products," said JinkoSolar's
    Vice President of Global Sales and Marketing.

    Enel is investing about $157 million in the project, which has a long-term power purchase agreement
    with Australian utility Origin Energy.

    The Bingala solar PV project is expected to be fully operational
    in early 2019.
    By then, it will be able to generate about 570GWh of electricity
    per year.
    The facility covers approximately 600 hectares and includes more than 800,000 polycrystalline PV module tracker structures
    mounted on a single axis.
